Cándor lucis ætérnæ est Sapiéntia
Wisdom is the brightness of eternal light,
et spéculum sine mácula Dei poténtiæ
and the unspotted mirror of the majesty of God,
et imágo bonitátis illíus. Et, cum sit una, ómnia potest;
and the image of his goodness. And though she is one, she can do all things;
et in se pérmanens ómnia ínnovat
and, unchanging in herself, she renews all things,
et per generatiónes in ánimas sanctas se tránsferens amícos Dei et prophétas constítuit.
and throughout the nations she conveys herself to holy souls, establishing them as friends and prophets of God.
