Oratio
Concéde, quǽsumus, omnípotens Deus,
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God,
ut nos Unigéniti tui nova per carnem natívitas líberet,
that the new birth of your Only-begotten Son as man may set us free,
quos sub peccáti jugo vetústa sérvitus tenet.
who are held by the old bondage under the yoke of sin.
Per eúmdem Dóminum nostrum Jesum Christum Fílium tuum,
Through the same Jesus Christ, your Son, Our Lord,
qui tecum vivit et regnat in unitáte Spíritus Sancti, Deus,
Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God,
per ómnia sǽcula sæculórum.
for ever and ever.
