Oratio
Concéde, quǽsumus, omnípotens Deus,
Grant, we beseech you, Almighty God and Father,
ut qui, dilécti Fílii tui Corde gloriántes,
we glory in the Sacred Heart of Jesus, your beloved Son,
ejus præcípua in nos benefícia recólimus caritátis,
as we call to mind the great things his love has done for us.
de illo donórum fonte cælésti supereffluéntem grátiam mereámur accípere.
Fill us with the grace that flows in abundance from the Heart of Jesus, the source of heaven’s gifts.
Per Dóminum nostrum Jesum Christum, Fílium tuum,
Through our Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son,
qui tecum vivit et regnat in unitáte Spíritus Sancti, Deus,
Who livest and reignest with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God,
per ómnia sǽcula sæculórum.
for ever and ever.
