Lectio
Lavámini, mundi estóte, auférte malum cogitatiónum vestrárum ab óculis meis;
Wash, become clean, take away the evil of your intentions from my eyes.
quiéscite ágere pervérse, díscite benefácere:
Cease to act perversely. Learn to do good.
quǽrite judícium, subveníte opprésso, judicáte pupíllo, deféndite víduam.
Seek judgment, support the oppressed, judge for the orphan, defend the widow.
Et veníte et judício contendámus, dicit Dóminus.
And then approach and accuse me, says the Lord.
Si fúerint peccáta vestra ut cóccinum, quasi nix dealbabúntur;
Then, if your sins are like scarlet, they shall be made white like snow;
et si fúerint rubra quasi vermículus, velut lana erunt.
and if they are red like vermilion, they shall become white like wool.
