Lectio
Nunc gáudeo in passiónibus pro vobis,
Now I rejoice in my passion on your behalf,
et adímpleo ea quæ desunt passiónum Christi, in carne mea
and I complete in my flesh the things that are lacking in the Passion of Christ,
pro córpore ejus, quod est Ecclésia:
for the sake of his body, which is the Church.
cujus factus sum ego miníster
For I have become a minister of the Church,
secúndum dispensatiónem Dei,
according to the dispensation of God
quæ data est mihi in vos,
that has been given to me among you,
ut ímpleam verbum Dei.
so that I may fulfil the Word of God.
