Victrícem manum tuam, Dómine,
Your conquering hand, o Lord,
laudavérunt páriter, allelúia:

quia sapiéntia apéruit os mutum,
for wisdom opened mouths that were mute
et linguas infántium fecit disértas,
and gave eloquence to the tongues of infants,
