1. Rerum, Deus, tenax vigor,
1. O God of all things, upholding strength.
Immótus in te pérmanens,
Unchanged in yourself,
Lucis diúrnæ témpora
yet determining the successive
Succéssibus detérminans.

Quo vita numquam décidat,
