Vos, cum essétis aliquándo alienáti et inimíci sensu in opéribus malis,
You, though you had been, in times past, understood to be foreigners and enemies, with works of evil,
nunc autem reconciliávit Deus in córpore carnis Christi per mortem
yet now he has reconciled you, by his body of flesh, through death,
exhibére vos sanctos et immaculátos et irreprehensíbiles coram ipso.
so as to offer you, holy and immaculate and blameless, before him.
