Cívitas non eget sole neque luna, ut lúceant ei,

The city has no need of sun or moon to shine in it.

nam cláritas Dei illuminávit eam,

For the glory of God has illuminated it,

et lucérna ejus est Agnus.

and the Lamb is its lamp.

Et ambulábunt gentes per lumen ejus,

And the nations shall walk by its light.

et reges terræ áfferunt glóriam suam in illam.

And the kings of the earth shall bring their glory and honor into it.
