Lectio
Beátus vir qui invéntus est sine mácula:
et qui post aurum non ábiit nec sperávit in pecúnia et thesáuris.
Quis est hic, et laudábimus eum? fecit enim mirabília in vita sua.
Blessed is the rich man who is found to be without blemish.
And blessed is he who has not gone after gold, nor placed his hope in money or treasures.
Who is he? For we should praise him. For he has done wonderful things in his life.
Bienaventurado el rico, que se encuentra sin falta
y que no corre detrás del oro.
¿Quién es él? Lo proclamaremos bienaventurado: de hecho, ha obrado maravillas entre su pueblo.
Heureux le riche, qui se trouve sans défaut
et qui ne court pas après l'or.
Qui est-il ? nous le proclamerons bienheureux: en effet, il a fait des merveilles parmi son peuple.
Beato il ricco, che si trova senza macchia
e che non corre dietro all'oro.
Chi è costui? noi lo proclameremo beato: difatti egli ha compiuto meraviglie in mezzo al suo popolo.
Wohl dem Mann, der schuldlos befunden wird,
der auf Gold nicht ausgeht, noch hofft auf Geld und Schätze.
Wo gibt es den? Wir wollen ihn preisen. Denn Staunenswertes hat er in seinem Volk vollbracht.
