Euge serve bone,
in módico fidélis,
intra in gáudium Dómini tui.
(Ps. 118, 153-176) Vide humilitátem meam, et éripe me:
quia legem tuam non sum oblítus.
2. Júdica judícium meum, et rédime me:
propter elóquium tuum vivífica me.
3. Longe a peccatóribus salus:
quia justificatiónes tuas non exquisiérunt.
4. Misericórdiæ tuæ multæ, Dómine:
secúndum judícium tuum vivífica me.
5. Multi qui persequúntur me, et tríbulant me:
a testimóniis tuis non declinávi.
6. Vidi prævaricántes, et tabescébam:
quia elóquia tua non custodiérunt.
7. Vide quóniam mandáta tua diléxi, Dómine:
in misericórdia tua vivífica me.
8. Princípium verbórum tuórum, véritas:
in ætérnum ómnia judícia justítiæ tuæ.
9. Glória Patri, et Fílio,
et Spirítui Sancto.
10. Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc, et semper,
et in sǽcula sæculórum. Amen.
11. Príncipes persecúti sunt me gratis:
et a verbis tuis formidávit cor meum.
12. Lætábor ego super elóquia tua:
sicut qui invénit spólia multa.
13. Iniquitátem ódio hábui, et abominátus sum:
legem autem tuam diléxi.
14. Sépties in die laudem dixi tibi,
super judícia justítiæ tuæ.
15. Pax multa diligéntibus legem tuam:
et non est illis scándalum.
16. Exspectábam salutáre tuum, Dómine:
et mandáta tua diléxi.
17. Custodívit ánima mea testimónia tua:
et diléxit ea veheménter.
18. Servávi mandáta tua, et testimónia tua:
quia omnes viæ meæ in conspéctu tuo.
19. Glória Patri, et Fílio,
et Spirítui Sancto.
20. Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc, et semper,
et in sǽcula sæculórum. Amen.
21. Appropínquet deprecátio mea in conspéctu tuo, Dómine:
juxta elóquium tuum da mihi intelléctum.
22. Intret postulátio mea in conspéctu tuo:
secúndum elóquium tuum éripe me.
23. Eructábunt lábia mea hymnum,
cum docúeris me justificatiónes tuas.
24. Pronuntiábit lingua mea elóquium tuum:
quia ómnia mandáta tua ǽquitas.
25. Fiat manus tua ut salvet me:
quóniam mandáta tua elégi.
26. Concupívi salutáre tuum, Dómine:
et lex tua meditátio mea est.
27. Vivet ánima mea, et laudábit te:
et judícia tua adjuvábunt me.
28. Errávi, sicut ovis, quæ périit:
quære servum tuum, quia mandáta tua non sum oblítus.
29. Glória Patri, et Fílio,
et Spirítui Sancto.
30. Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc, et semper,
et in sǽcula sæculórum. Amen.
Euge serve bone,
in módico fidélis,
intra in gáudium Dómini tui.
Well done, thou good servant,
thou hast been faithful in a very little,
Enter into the gladness of your lord.
(Ps. 118, 153-176) See my humiliation and rescue me,
for I have not forgotten your law.
2. Judge my judgment and redeem me.
Revive me because of your eloquence.
3. Salvation is far from sinners,
because they have not inquired about your justifications.
4. Many are your mercies, O Lord.
Enliven me according to your judgment.
5. Many are those who persecute me and who trouble me.
I have not turned away from your testimonies.
6. I saw the prevaricators, and I pine away.
For they have not kept your word.
7. O Lord, see how I have loved your commandments.
Revive me in your mercy.
8. The beginning of your words is truth.
All the judgments of your justice are for eternity.
9. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
10. As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
11. The leaders have persecuted me without cause.
And my heart has been awed by your words.
12. I will rejoice over your eloquence,
like one who has found many spoils.
13. I have held hatred for iniquity, and I have abhorred it.
Yet I have loved your law.
14. Seven times a day, I uttered praise to you
about the judgments of your justice.
15. Those who love your law have great peace,
and there is no scandal for them.
16. I have waited for your salvation, O Lord.
And I have loved your commandments.
17. My soul has kept to your testimonies
and has loved them exceedingly.
18. I have served your commandments and your testimonies.
For all my ways are before your sight.
19. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
20. As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
21. O Lord, let my supplication draw near in your sight.
Grant understanding to me according to your eloquence.
22. Let my petition enter before you.
Rescue me according to your word.
23. A hymn will burst forth from my lips,
when you will teach me your justifications.
24. My tongue will pronounce your eloquence.
For all your commandments are fairness.
25. Let it be your hand that saves me.
For I have chosen your commandments.
26. O Lord, I have longed for your salvation,
and your law is my meditation.
27. My soul will live and will praise you,
and your judgments will assist me.
28. I have gone astray like a sheep that is lost.
Seek out your servant, for I have not forgotten your commandments.
29. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit,
30. As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Well done, thou good servant,
thou hast been faithful in a very little,
Enter into the gladness of your lord.
