Hæc dicit Dóminus:
The Lord says this:
Invénit grátiam in desérto pópulus qui remánserat a gládio;
They have found pardon in the wilderness, those who have survived the sword.
vadet ad réquiem suam Israel.
Israel is marching to his rest.
De longe Dóminus appáruit mihi:
The Lord has appeared to him from afar:
In caritáte perpétua diléxi te;
I have loved you with an everlasting love,
ídeo attráxi te in misericórdia.
so I am constant in my affection for you.
Rursúmque ædificábo te, et ædificáberis.
I build you once more; you shall be rebuilt.
