Vos in libertátem vocáti estis, fratres;
My brothers, you were called, as you know, to liberty;
tantum ne libertátem in occasiónem detis carni,
but be careful, or this liberty will provide an opening for self-indulgence.

Serve one another, rather, in works of charity,
Omnis enim lex in uno sermóne implétur, in hoc:
since the whole of the Law is summarized in a single command:
Díliges próximum tuum sicut teípsum.
