Lectio
Christus dedit quosdam quidem apóstolos, quosdam autem prophétas,
Christ granted that some would be Apostles, and some Prophets,
álios vero evangelístas, álios autem pastóres et doctóres
yet truly others evangelists, and others pastors and teachers,
ad instructiónem sanctórum in opus ministérii, in ædificatiónem córporis Christi,
for the sake of the perfection of the saints, by the work of the ministry, in the edification of the body of Christ,
donec occurrámus omnes in unitátem fidei, et agnitiónis Filii Dei,
until we all meet in the unity of faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God,
in virum perféctum, in mensúram ætátis plenitúdinis Christi.
as a perfect man, in the measure of the age of the fullness of Christ.
