Oratio
Deus, qui beátum Bernárdum abbátem, zelo domus tuæ succénsum,
O God, who made of the Abbot Saint Bernard a man consumed with zeal for your house
in Ecclésia tua lucére simul et ardére fecísti,
and a light shining and burning in your Church,
ejus nobis intercessióne concéde, ut, eódem spíritu fervéntes,
grant, through his intercession, that we may be on fire with the same spirit
tamquam fílii lucis júgiter ambulémus.
and walk always as children of light.
Per Dóminum nostrum Jesum Christum, Fílium tuum,
Through our Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son,
qui tecum vivit et regnat in unitáte Spíritus Sancti, Deus,
Who livest and reignest with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God,
per ómnia sǽcula sæculórum.
for ever and ever.
