Lectio
Deus, qui dives est in misericórdia,
God loved us with so much love
propter nímiam caritátem suam qua diléxit nos,
that he was generous with his mercy:
et cum essémus mórtui peccátis,
when we were dead through our sins,
convivificávit nos Christo grátia estis salváti
he brought us to life with Christ, it is through grace that you have been saved,
et conresuscitávit et consedére fecit in cæléstibus in Christo Jesu.
and raised us up with him and gave us a place with him in heaven, in Christ Jesus.
Ut osténderet in sǽculis superveniéntibus abundántes divítias grátiæ suæ
This was to show for all ages to come, through his goodness towards us in Christ Jesus,
in bonitáte super nos in Christo Jesu.
how infinitely rich he is in grace.
